About lord teach me to pray (kay arthur)
Learn what the Lord's Prayer teaches us about effective prayer and how to put into practice its timeless principles. Kay will equip you to be used in God's kingdom. Her authority comes from God's Word; her compassion stems from a life touched by deep tragedy as well as great triumph. Getting to know her heart for God will be one of the joys of this study. What you learn will be yours to practice for a lifetime, just as Jesus intended when He taught His disciples how to pray.
Lord, Teach Me to Pray: Practicing a Powerful Pattern of Prayer, by Kay Arthur provides a personal study experience five days a week plus viewer guides for the group video sessions of this in-depth women's Bible study.
Kay Arthur’s exciting, practical approach to the Scriptures has influenced thousands to use the Inductive Bible Study Method in their personal studies. Her distinguished Christian character, Bible teaching, championing of the Inductive Bible Study Method, and national radio and television programs motivate others to discover truth for themselves. Kay’s passion is for people to be established in God’s Word.

We are pleased to offer a second study on Thursday morning -
JAMES: FAITH THAT WORKS
It is possible to find wisdom and joy amidst life's whirlwind of frazzle and frenzy!
About the study
Joy from trials - - - doesn't make sense, does it? Yet, we know God uses life's trials to work something good in us that we cannot get or learn any other way. God desires to work through the trails of life to bring about His will, and grow our faith and our JOY! Joy that comes from perserverance, growing in our faith and rejoicing in wisdom given to us by God; this is the kind of faith James writes about.
Join Bible study teacher and facilitator, Debbie Karis, as together you will walk through the book of James discovering the wisdom God gives generously, and the joy that can be yours in the process. In addition to Debbie's conversational style of teaching the class will use the James: Faith that Works study by Andrew and Phyllis Le Peau to help us grow a steadfast faith that can carry us through all the ups and downs of life.
Join us and learn how to find the JOY of walking through the trials of daily life.
Each session of this Bible study will include:
